Baldwin Borough Solicitation Ordinance |
|
Borough residents should know that they can prohibit salespeople from knocking on their doors. A person soliciting door-to-door in a neighborhood is required under Borough ordinance to register with the police department where they will receive a solicitation permit. The permit should be on the person who is soliciting and they should produce it if asked by the resident. When and entity or person applies for a solicitation permit they are given a list of homes that to not permit solicitation. All residents may stop by the police department to register their home as a do not solicit address. Click here for a copy of the ordinance in PDF format.
